I agree Dove, by the time if read all the posts I've forgotten who said what and whose signed on. That aside, good morning campers. It's a bright day here but I'm not going to be able to enjoy it. Ironing, packing, picking up last minute bits and bobs and I have to visit mum plus the annual event of painting my nails is taking place later. Then off on hols in the morning after a really bad night's sleep when I keep dreaming about all the things I've forgotten to do.
I'm 5ft 8in was 5 9 but I've shrunk a bit I think. I've always been tall, head and shoulders above most of my classmates at school. I used to moan about it when I was a teenager because all the boys were shorter but my dad said 'Don't worry love, we're all the same length lying down' It was years before I realised what he meant, I wouldn't mind but he was unbelievably strict, I think he must have had a few pints at the time. He even told hubby off for keeping me out late the week after we got married!
Anyway, I hope all salt miners have a good day and whatever you do, may your God go with you. (I watched a bit of Dave Allen the other day)

I forgot to say earlier, I popped into my mum's yesterday, she has FOUR tin baths. (I thought she had 2).....why does anyone need four tin baths??? That's like someone having 3 Belfast sinks!!! Anyway, after having a little word she told me last night that she is thinking very hard about parting with one of them Keeping everything crossed
