I've just been reading the local press - lots of excitement about James Desaolu's  fantastic 100m gold medal ant the European Championships last night - his parents live in Norwich image

Morning peeps - i'm backimage.  Work was manic for a while (and will carry on being so I have no doubt) and then I sneaked off for a fab holiday in Rhodes and Athens - wonderful time in both.  No time to catch up here yet - will set aside a couple of hours this evening for Forkers aloneimage.

Morning all and welcome home Chickyimage  Glad you had a good holiday.

SM for me today - KEF forgot to take my list with her yesterdayimageimage

  • Good morning all - you are all so industrious making me feel inadequate. However, guests are off out for the day, OH & sprogglet back in UK so I am putting on the gardening shoes (were once bestest but ruined 'em gardening) and am going to get on with it, so much to do so little time. Need to check on fuschia cuttings first though!

    Bonne journée to all.

Haven't taken my fuchsia cuttings yet DD, so you have a head start on me - the way my diary is, I'll be doing it next week - if you remind me image

Morning all. I've been very tied up with family. 2 of my children and OHs went yesterday taking 5 grandchildren with them. Daughter 2 her OH and 2 children going after lunch today. We babysat for them last night so I dealt with baths, feeding, and reading, Peppa Pig.

Weather fairly awful, 11° this morning, rain forecast. Loads of sheets to wash, thank God for tumble dryers. Mine and OHs clothes too. Haven't been able to wash clothes, machine and line always seemed full of miniature clothing!

Good luck to OL's OH, hope the new business is very successful.

Now to find that suspect thread, wonder if it's still there. Always was curious.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
