Verdun, we need it here - but the friend who's coming to stay has connections in the Channel Islands - shall I ask her to send some of their weather to you?  If all the weather just moved up a couple of notches ...?image

  • Have just logged on and missed OL's news... great luck to you and OH. Trip to Wisley on Tuesday which is looking particularly good at this time.

Still working on new terrace. Raised beds around trees now filled with soil. Silver birch bed potted with Festuca Elijah blue and mulched with slate. Ash bed filled and will plant with Carex testacea, which is an orange/bronze colour. New troughs filled too, awaiting alpines, some bought at Wizzers.

Today is HW, visitors at weekend; making a batch of soup for friend imageimage, who is having major dental surgery tomorrow; and work on village calendar for 2015. Nearly finished, just needs pushing over the line.

Have a few plants to plant first thing as rain is forecast. Rudbeckia and blue scabious to complete the bed I dug out last week.

Morning all. Dull here but hopefully a bit warmer than the last few days. Your nighttime temp was higher than our daytime one on Tuesday Dove! Can you send that warmer stuff up her pretty please image

    Morning all image

Thanks Lily. I think I'm in agreement too. The violet wonder is just a bit too bright and purple (I had hoped it was more grey).

Weather is def cooler here too image Don't think the sun will be making an appearance here, may need to use my new waterproof today image

Right, off to get dressed. Hope you all have a good day what ever you are doing image

    Morning all.

Dentist this morning, not one of my favourite things.

Did I miss something on here yesterday?

Congratulations to and your OH. OL. I am sure you will make a success of it and reap some deserved rewards.

    Have a good day everyone.
