My last word on Irises tonight... don't forget to smell them... wonderful heady perfume... every bit as good as most roses if not better... the brown/orange colours smell of chocolate... no, seriously.
I never get a hangover from champagne. That should read used to as I don't drink enough to get hangovers now that I'm old and sensible.
Somewhere there was a thread with sunflowers on, thought OL had posted pics. I have 2 out now, a tall yellow and a short yellow. The red ones and orange short ones didn't germinate. Probably had the seeds too long. Anyone know where that thread is?
