    A neighbouring farmer in Northumberland got 2 goats to keep the thistles down in his field, & tethered them to a stake with long chains so they wouldn't stray.  They didn't like the thistles, so pulled up their stake and stripped the bark from all his roadside trees... they never eat what you want them to eat!

    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Hello all

    Me not coming on Friday to the log cabin as not very well - I would be hogging the loo

    Rained here earlier and a bit yesterday still managed to do some painting on my pallet project - got soaked on Saturday only popped to the station was soaked though rain mac but did think yeah it is raining garden needed the water

    now watching YouTube found a good allotment videos

    Dove we have hedgehog too right to the back door last night I looked out last night as heard a noise and spotted it , so I rushed down the garden to my shed to get the hedgehog patty that I brought ages ago -  it was so enjoying it munching away for ages nice big sized hog so fascinating

    Here is the time lapse cam pics of the squirrel feeder - had it set up so it would start the next day early and got one, so cute on pics enjoying its breaky

    Punkdoc, thank you very much for the lillies, very pretty. Yes can't believe its now just one more day to go. I shall miss all my colleagues except one. Its no longer a very nice place to be, and i have personal reasons to be at home too. So after tomorrow i can enjoy my garden even more.image

    yes squirrel lifts the lid to get the food - I have 2 more feeders one with mixed food the other with nut they take their pic to which one they want to use so good it went for the monkey nuts so I could get a pic

Lucky you image Bet you can't wait image Hope you enjoy your time at home as much as I have the pass six months.  Like you I too had personal reasons which think similar to yours (I recall you saying) but managed to fit in many hours in the garden and many hours meeting you guys image I'm back to work next Tuesday image

    Been to supermarket to prepare for the arrival of the hoards. Now off to water the pots.
