Congratulations Fairy and Clari (for very different reasons).  Well its persisting down here and has been basically for a couple of days.  The Beeb has promised me that tomorrow is going to be glorious so Ill just have to put up with it for now.  Just had a quick walk around the garden and the plants are definitely enjoying the weather and the water butt will definitely be full.

Morning all. Grey and wet here, and I am delighted. The garden really needs it.

Congratulations Clari, the job sounds brilliant, I am sure your enthusiasm will make it a success.

    Have a good day all.

Morning all, bit late but have been up for ages and just got back from SM shopping.

Poured with rain earlier but sunny now.

Congrats great auntie fairy. My friends son looked like Winston Churchill when he was born......he was rather large at birth image

I saw the ice sculptures fairy, they were very moving.

Congrats to Clari too, hope all goes well.

OL, hope you don't get too wet and have a great day.

See you later peeps TTFN x

Yeah, yeah, yeah Lily, that's what I say image I am just up though image Had a late one last night image

Film was very good, so was music image It was odd to see what 'poor quality' the film stock was - we are so used to everything being digital that to see flecks and marks on the screen was a reminder of how old the film is.

Weather ok so far, most of our rain was over night image Which should make planting today a lot easier image

Congrats to the new Aunties image

Conrats to Clari for her new role image I did something similar in a voluntary capacity while at Uni for the local museum. I did enjoy it image

Woo hoo KEF image Love the new GH image Guess OH has earned a few pasta meals with that image

Hi all!  My OH (not a gardener...) is getting suspicious of the length of time I'm spending on this forum.  image  So I'll just have to catch up when I can.  (Mind you, he's off to the football this afternoon...  image)

Re babies:  P.G.Wodehouse (remember Jeeves & Wooster?) reckoned all babies looked like homicidal fried eggs.  Can't understand them being described as beautiful - much more interesting once they can talk.  Even my own...

Ah well... can no longer put off going shopping in the rain...  bye!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
