Congratulations Fairy and Clari (for very different reasons). Well its persisting down here and has been basically for a couple of days. The Beeb has promised me that tomorrow is going to be glorious so Ill just have to put up with it for now. Just had a quick walk around the garden and the plants are definitely enjoying the weather and the water butt will definitely be full.

Film was very good, so was music It was odd to see what 'poor quality' the film stock was - we are so used to everything being digital that to see flecks and marks on the screen was a reminder of how old the film is.
Weather ok so far, most of our rain was over night Which should make planting today a lot easier

Re babies: P.G.Wodehouse (remember Jeeves & Wooster?) reckoned all babies looked like homicidal fried eggs. Can't understand them being described as beautiful - much more interesting once they can talk. Even my own...
Ah well... can no longer put off going shopping in the rain... bye!
