Edd, the roof was looked at and the dormer windows and eaves were re-done, but Lily I could really do with a cleaner and weeder! Only trouble is - I can't afford one.image

I was left the house when first husband died, but, under French law at the time, it's shared with my children.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hi fellow forkers, Keep having trouble with this thread it keeps dropping off my followed threads and then when I get it back I cant go back to previous pages.  Now Ive posted Ill see if it makes a difference and then I can catch up with what everyone has been up to today.

I think it might be because I have unticked email me when a response is made box.  I tried it just because it fills up my email.  Does anyone else have the same problem.

Well folks, I cant go back more than two pages so only picked up when you started talking about gardening atire.  I favour jeans most of the year but when its hot I go for maxi dresses, that said today in the garden I sported a pair of very thin gym trousers and a loose top (between you and me I quite like the charlie dimmock approach to gardening when its hot).  Other half is getting geared up for his hols in a rather fetching pair of shorts and has found a load of turkish music to get him in the mood, I wouldnt mind but we dont go for weeks yet!

Well muppet me went to clear up the leaves/branches chopped down earlier and I now have a lovely swollen ankle!!  I don't think it's broken but I think it may be badly sprained and throbbing like mad, in fact my leg is starting to throb up to my knee now, lots of Arnicare gel rubbed in and a glass of red for medicinal purposes.....not a happy bunny and very cross with the beagles for digging the hole that I fell on/down!! image

Lizzie, if I didn't have my boys here (all 3) I would come and clean and weed for nothing as long as you fed me image

Hugs o.l Lizzie you look lovely, how I imagined you too. I generally wear jeans 99 % of the time! I have a huge collection, skinnies, bootleg, taught with huge flares for wearing with high wedges???though haven' t worn heels for over 3 years and I can' t get in half my jeans yet...I adore maxi dresses and skirts though they get in my way when gardening or pushing pram so opportunities to wear limited! Mostly in yoga pants in garde, and I' m definitely in the Charlie dim mock camp too, none of my bras fit and are comfy so leave off whenever poss! went to alpaca farm, had a lovely time, then found a nursery nearby I didn't t know was tHere, got a dwarf tomato ( sweet millions) and 3 delphiniums for £ 8 50, was a nice place to visit, oh and bb found a swing in a bit of woodland and played there happily for ages while I carried cc in sling fast asleep, got chance to look properly and chat to lady working there!

I've just gone on settings to change to basic so I can PM, while there I noticed on my ignore list (of 4) that 2 of the names have changed, trouble is I can't remember what the names were before but that means they have changed their name on here doesn't it??
