Dove - the pond looks a massive task. It'll be worth it in the end

PD- sounds like you are out the doghouse thenimage

Stacey - you have been busy. Hope you don't ache too much in the morning. My arms are sooo sore from edging the borders yesterday. Obviously gardening muscles!!!

Stacey- don't hold out much hope for the Sophora. The person who bought the house wasn't a gardener. The Camellia that we left is brown and has been for the last year.image

Morning all - work beckons.  OH has the day off, which makes getting going even harder!  Stacey - i am still waiting for some of my thalictrum and astrantias to show - but not given up hope yet!

What a wonderful weekend it was - Lily, alli - hope your aching backs are better this morning.  the newest of my hellebores did a bit of wilting in yesterday's heat - but a bucket of water and a good nights rest and they are standing tall again.  (don't know why that made me think of aching backsimage)

dove - what news of the pond?  And Tracey - dare i mention GH??

Chicky -  re pond - OH is at work today and is going to ask if he can borrow an axe from his boss - I'm waiting for our builder to contact me about a quote for decorating and some other bits and bobs so I might just get him to lend a hand too - he likes doing stuff in the garden image
