We just keep having heavy rain showers and the heavier they are the mugger it gets. Little man is next door, playing football in the garden in torrential rain LOL image

Got bitten by a horsefly yesterday and it has just come up while I've been cleaning....ouch, itching like mad and can't find my tea tree!!

A tree across the road Lily, not good, is it the lightening that's brought it down? I hope the sun is shining for Woody and those doing garden visit.

KEF, do you like grasshoppers? image

What about cider vinegar OL? Isn't that meant to help with bites?

Found it image I'd left it in the downstairs toilet, knew I'd seen it while doing HW but couldn't  remember where. Never tried cider vinegar Clari but will bear it in mind, OH has just been bitten while mowing the lawn and his is up already, mine take about 24 hours......funny how we all react differently image

Play time cut short image GH door been wide open for some air for abou 25mins and now part closed, thunder rumbling and looks like it's going to bang it down. image

Bekkie glad your dog doesn't get upset, good job he didn't want a spud either LOL image

Can't tell if that's thunder or just the neighbours banging around. Looks like even we might get some more rain - hurrah! image

I am fed up of being sticky and muggy....off to walk the hounds 3 miles now, that will guarantee rain image

Plants I need  to buy, well the ones I said, all part of my plan for next year imageimage

Good decision KEF - the storm has just nipped by here and what a cracker! (I'm on the notepad thus safer from her surges). Doesn't look like it'll be staying long unfortunately.

Hi all. Feeling better now after yesterdays rant, thanks for your well wishes.

Huge thunder and lightening now, it waited while coffee and cake do had finished. Even got to sit outside for half of the event! Went nicely as expected. My contribution of a fruit salad went down really well - I dont bake so no cakes from me- F salad cost ??23 though!!! Everyone had good chats and support. Even had unprompted comments about my garden image

Hope you've all had a good day, will go for a gander and try to pick up on wants been happening here....
