I'm feeling as some h***w**k done, hob cleaned and freezer defrosted.
All the jobs needing done outside here are of the sawing and screwing together variety and it's too wet for that. Did some deadheading and tidying yesterday, as well as planting the apple tree, so there's really nothing much else I can do outside today. I was going to cut the grass yesterday but it's looking nice and green so I decided to leave it in case we get a lot more dry weather. I'll cut it on a higher setting next time I think, unless the rain forgets to go off for the rest of the summer!
I've washed a few dishes Lesley - does that count towards a ?

Well, I've just had a surprise visit from a friend I've not seen for a while, put me back as HW should have been done by now but I don't mind as it was lovely to see her.....and we are now going to a party the night before our holibobs (when we need to be up at 3am!! Might just party and stay up!)

Lots of recharging going on here - just been for a trip to get our toenails painted (complete with little flower and everything) so can't put gardening shoes on til tomorrow for fear of smudging. Sun has made an unexpected appearance, so sitting witha cuppa and a GW mag
Got my Dad staying for the weekend and he wants to visit a local GC (sister has a birthday coming up!) so might mosey along there later .....
