Looks like our street is flooding again, only the road, not the houses, but it makes it very unpleasent to walk anywhere because you get splashed by the cars
Morning everyone, Storm kept me awake last night and its been raining steadily for a couple of hours, it does feel fresher though and the garden desperately needed it. It's such a shame though for all salt miners, going to work in all that heat and then rain at the weekend, never mind it will make it easier to get the weeds up. Hope you all have a good time in Norfolk.
Morning all, zonked out on the sofa last night, was woken up by another huge clapped of thunder around 3.30!! Its still raining now and the odd rumble still going.

We were going to do a few trips to the tip today but not sure now, cos of weather
Same story here - very wet - although didn't hear any thunder last night. Today is a day for chores, and will spend tomorrow in the garden. As others have said, can't be too downhearted as the soil needed a really good soak.
Hope sun will be shining on the vicarage by this afternoon - and the place will look and smell lovely and fresh for its VIP visitors. Enjoy your train ride Panda

We're supposed to get it later this morning. Hope everyone is ok - I heard there was a few incidents with lightning strikes - houses on fire etc.
