Rain was forecast here at 8......still waiting!!!  All plants have been given a good soaking and the forecast is rain all day tomorrow so I won't be doing the weeding in my veg patch.

Quite a few leaves have been eaten.....squashes are spreading everywhere......sweet peas covered in green fly and white fly.....outdoor toms not looking overly happy.....basically it's all going Pete Tongue!!!!

I really must start checking my posts......just to tired tonight so excuse any typos, although I could quite easily sit IN a bathful of wine tonight!!

Bekkie, I'm sure your baby will be fine, could it just be heat rash?

I've never seen an aubergine flower either Bekkie, was surprised how pretty they are, but then I was surprised how pretty courgette flowers are too image

The few cobra beans that survived have flowered, they are very pretty too-lilac image

Dunno about georges tum, dosent look as big as the ring worm on the internet but still looks sore, poor baby, he is prone to summer itch, so fingers crossed! image

Only teasing about the wine, i know you wouldnt waste it like thatimage

You can eat courgette flowers cant you? All a bit complicated for me image

Yes you can eat them Bekkie but I haven't this year.  I've had some more rotting in the end tonight, the ones on the veg patch so they might just of been too damp and not enough light?

A few always go a bit soggy, dont worry about it image

Did anyone see Alyce Fowler on GW, possibly last year or the year before, she was interviewing a lady called Joy i think, i would love to read the gardening book/s she has written. OL, this lady reccomended, coiling squash around its self on the ground to save space, looked really good image
