Dont buy on first visit! Look, smell and take notes. Its a bit ovewhelming, the colours look different in real life. There are always offers in the mags, so its worth getting those image

ok update on the planting I'm going to go agapanthus!!!!! ok not scented but i just went to GC for some breakfast (after dropping lo at nursery i had an hour wandering bliss....) and found a stunning agapanthus called enigma ( very similar to queen mum its white with blue base at the bottom of the flowers ( do pic later).... the specimen has 6 huge flowers and is ripe to burst out the pot bargain for £4.99!!! now I'm off to research weather to leave them in the pots or to plant direct!!!!!! laters peeps

Awwww Stacey I LOVE Agapanthus and have 3 but they haven't flowered this year, that is a bargain price too image I think there are mixed opinions on where to plant, mine are planted direct and I was going to move them to a PO, as I'd heard that was best  but then someone said they like open ground and when I was in Cornwall they were growing very happily in the wild in open ground......so I'm confused.  If you find the answer let me know image

orchid i have been having a scour and both camps are represented.... I'm gonna chuck her out into the border and see, although its an evergreen so i will need to much and protect in the autumn..... now lets hope someone is selling them at hampton court so i can buy about 6 more!!!! 4 blue and another 2 white should do it!!! I have midnight blue in a pot and it is 'ignored' every year it is full of flowers so........ The nursery is a small independent nursey called oak tree, they geo a lot of their plants themselves and for the majority the rest they have to buy are all english grown. Chicky seeing as you do go to long acres i wold highly recommend a visit to oak tree its opposite the stirrups pub its ace(RG426LH is the postcode) ( oh and their hearty gardeners bfast is only £4.99) Their plants are fantastic and they have a healthy and reasonable tree collection ........

Ok I've been busy while you lot have been rabbiting. Shredded the philadelphus and viburnum I murdered, and big bits of hawthorn. Fed OH  and made coffee.

Now I've just got to gather up all the little bits of hawthorn and shred those.

    kef and Dove...

You've had too much sun. polishing parquet floors and ironing.... !!!!!!!!

Lie down in a darkened room until the feeling passes. Drink plenty. Nearly pimms o clock
