Evening all..... Well this morning when I left for work I had a healthy gooseberry bush out the front now :
Gone!!! Note the little blighters on the pot and their poop all over the sawdust bale!!! I'm assuming it's sawfly!!!! I have been hit bad by it this year.... Right off to mourn and watch hampton court whilst I plan what to buy on Saturday lol x
Odd how these bluddy things rule our lives.....just been trying to view something on YouTube which proved rather useless because of a feeble broadband speed...1.17Mbps to be exact....even saw the whirly circle thingie for the first time in years.
The speed I normally get (and pay for) is 32Mbps.....crikey I wouldn't like to go back to the old days.
Pre-recorded voice message from Virgin confirms a fault in the area that should be fixed shortly.
Evening all Well done Lily, you must be sooooooooo pleased
I swear someone on a certain gardening programme, (who I usually like but it seems has lied to me ) said that the hard work was in May and then you could enjoy the summer with little to do.......well dead-heading has just taken me ages to do and not even done the watering yet Cutting sweet peas also took me ages, but that's ok because now the kitchen smells beautiful again
And thank you everyone, it took a lot of thought but i know i've done the right thing. No Busy Liz, won't be going to another salt mine, i shall enjoy being at home and getting out in the garden. Just have to work the months notice and then I'll be a very happy Lily
Thanks to all who gave me support, it means a great deal to me and i am truly grateful. Lots of love x

Hello David
They made short work of that Stacey. Wonder how many there were
Not a very nice surprise to come home to. I would suggest you don't buy another at HC.
I've not stopped in the garden all day OL and I cant see any difference for it
. Tell me who said that and I'll get him for you
Oh no I can't say who it was Lesley, I usually like him
I need to tackle the veg patch at weekend.
Also it looks like I've managed to kill most of my free lavender plug plants
Thank you Dove, that went down nicely.
