Hi everyone, Glad you had a reprieve Clari.  Just spent two days looking after daughter with broken leg (did I mention she broke the toe on her other foot and is also dealing with a slipped disc).  Youngest grandaughter decided she didnt want to keep her cold to herself so shared it with me so that now I have no voice at all.  Hubby is really appreciating the silence I have to clap when I want to get his attention as I cant shout - hes a bit deaf - its all the years hes spent playing a very loud guitar.  Nevermind I had a satisfying 10 mins collecting snails off the front lawn and disposing of them. Oh its rained quite a bit here so garden well watered and water butt filled up nicely.  Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

  • Have just looked at the rain radar and we have certainly had a goodly soak, and it is still drizzling now.  What a fantastic growing season we are having.Hoping it will dry up now, as driving to the wilds of Sussex...are the natives friendly....to go to a jazz festival tomorrow, specifically to see Gregory Porter, my best man at the moment. We,imageimage, are calling in at West Dean gardens today, both as a treat and as a recce for next year's Hortisoc. annual outing. Next door to the Downs and Wealden museum so hoping that there is plenty to see and do.

Hope you had a reasonable night bekkieH , what a horrid experience. I might have buried my head under the pillow, and then spent the rest of the night wondering who. what, why....

Have a good day with the Steam rally Gg, there seem to be a few of these about today. Can you post a picture for old times sake? I used to live close to the Mount Pleasant crossing in Southampton, and played on the footbridge running through the steam. image My mum was so pleased. image. Happy times.

Good morning all. We had rain last evening and some now, but I don't think it has rained all night looking at amount in saucers and things.

Hope all enjoy their outings and salt miners their lie in. image

Bekkie hope you get a lie in after disturbed night, doubt it would have woken me, on one occasion I slept whilst the house alarm went off, I was dreaming it was an alarm clock. image

Y hope your throat improves image
