  • Morning all image  Have given up trying to catch up with what I've missed, so sorry if I seem to be rude and ignoring anyone.  Time to get the teenagers up then off the the garden for me.  I am bit disappointed as the met office says it will rain at the weekend. Boo hoo.

Although I am now singing an old tune..."Like a streak of light he flashes 'cross the sky....."

Good morning Chrissie, Dove, Woody and Bekkieimage  Slightly overcast here this morning but it is meant to be dry till lunchtime.  We could do with the rain and it's not very often you will hear me say thatimage

Glad you've started to improve Chrissie - these things always take longer than you expect.

Sounds like a lovely day in store Dove.  Ages since I went on a picnic.image

When you said you lost a plant Woody I thought you meant in amongst the weedsimage then you said a planting opportunity.  Always a dilemma when you have to chose a plant when there as so manyimage

Funny how you can sympathise with you mother as you get older bekkieimage

Off for walk, see you later.

Good morning all it is looking like another nice one image

Dove I remember Champion the wonder horse but didn't want to be one image Mr. Ed I might have been. image

Woody I'm pleased that you have a new friend imageimage

I know you will all have spent the night wondering about my potato trial image

Pentland Javelin came a poor 3rd even though it's the one I've always grown, I must have been comparing to SM spuds. In second with an honourable mention was Vale's Emerald, and by a head it's got to be Charlotte.

I've never made the connection before but it seems to me that the more cream coloured the spud the better the taste image

Not worth getting into a discussion about spuds-everyone has a different opinion, some like floury, some like waxy - i like fried!image
