Morning all, rained on and off all night, looks quite overcast, hope the sun pokes through sometime today.
Love the seaside, we go quite often for a walk along the beach/see friends etc. Which one you going to Dove, I love ice cream too, have one for me. But can it go on your hips cos I'm being good and have lost 6lb, just a few more and I'll be a very happy Lily.
Glad you had a lovely evening Lesley.
Hope you all have a lovely day, see you later peeps byeeeeee
Morning everyone. Eventually managed to get the Android to accept basic edit so I can post again! No fun and games here alas, starting to suspect partner wont even try to pretend to be happy that we're engaged. Can't wait till we see his family next weekend and grandma forces her wedding ideas on him.
Raining here now - hoping for a light drizzle all day as my garden is in desperate need but the steam rally doesn't want to be a complete wash out!
Day in the car here with a long journey across the UK to pick up some much needed car parts. Keep safe everyone!
Well done lily and Dove - those lost pounds seem to have found a home here.
Yes I did boogie the night away - you would think that would help the weight but there was a lovely buffet I can only do smiles. Happy person
Fairy - what type of alliums do you have that are flowering now. All mine have finished and next year I would like some later in the season.
Glad you can post again Clari. Sounds like a busy day. Hopefully your partner will soon realise how lucky he is. Keep telling him.
I want to tinker with some plants too Verdun but I know they would not move happily now. My plan is to take loads of photos- make notes and do it in autumn and spring. That's the plan anyway.
Think we'll head for Cromer - plenty of cafes and places to dawdle in during the showers - it's raining at the moment.
I'm quite used to going to the seaside in the rain - growing up on a farm we had to make the most of good summer weather for harvesting so trips to the seaside usually happened in bad weather - I've an eternal image of Ma in raincoat and headscarf marching along Southwold seafront with corgi on lead singing Ye Fishermen of England into the teeth of a gale!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thank you Dove and Lesley, just a little more off....waistbands were a little snug lol. Well done to you to Dove, I find winter food doesn't help
Lesley I'm sure you dancing last night knocked some off.
Just had 45 emails come through, haven't had any for a couple of days must be something to do with broken smilies.
Clari, I'm sure he's very pleased really....he said yes and bought you those lovely roses, just tell him what a lucky guy he is having a lovely girl like you. Hope the outlaws are lovely
Morning everyone, not been able ti catch yo with everything but hope you are all having a good weekend. We had a bit of rain yesterday but not much, lovely sunshine today so I am going to get in the garden with my this to do list!!

Rain last night, and sun (so far) this morning (smiley with sunglasses - couldn't work that one out last night
Not sure what's on the cards for me today. Might tackle some bits in my front yard - more concrete than garden.
Dove, have a lovely time at the sea side.
Lesley, glad you had a good time last night
Everyone else, have a good day
