Hi Chicky I find looking at it and saying I'm sure I like you makes it grow. I think it must be a very ordinary tough as old boots one, it was a self set from John's, I have read that germinating from seed isn't easy so this must be a tough one. It is in an area that has clay, gets wet in winter and dries out badly in summer and I only dug a hole and put MPC and slow release in with it, never fed it. Pre Forum days image

    Hi KEF and Chicky image

No need to water here - still damp underfoot from the downpours two days ago - pots all a bit soggy too.   Did some hard cutting back yesterday - took the big blue aquilegias down to ground level - now G. Rozanne and the roses have a bit more space.  Also pulled most of the Forget me Nots out of the undergrowth and got covered with the seeds.

Sowed more Red Mustard and Swiss Chard seeds and planted some more parsley seedlings out - hey're a bit behind - the first lot just didn't germinate at all.  I've had to buy parsley!!!  Need lots for supper today as I'm planning on making Falafel,Tabbouleh and Baba Ghanoush  for supper.

Good morning. Plenty of early risers todayimage  The sun is streaming in and the birds are chirping.  Everything looks a bit fresher after the rain yesterday afternoon.

Supernoodle you have worked so hard on your garden and it looks great.  Great fun now planning how to fill it.image

Hope that work is bearable today lily.

My garden is desperate for some rain. There is a  crack in the lawn that we could lose the lawnmower in. I have a soaker hose on the veg patch but it's not making much impression.
