It's very hot out there! 26.6C last time I looked. I just planted the rudbeckias I was given on the Barnsdale trip (you know who you are! ) so am just pulling the hosepipe round to the front to give them a good watering in.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Phew what a scorcher. Planted out my winter veg and had to put an old net curtain over the netting to shade them so they don't cook before they've grow.
Have had a few sit downs in shade but still too hot to even water shady areas. I'm considering a lie on sofa in room where sun moved away from at 11am. If I do will I wake to make some food do I care

Sounds good Bekkie!
Is it the weekend yet? (Thursday would do for a push).

Thank you!! I'll let you know as soon as they arrive.
Hopefully I'll have something I can one day send over to you in return

Lily a cuppa, not a vino
I don't think we should allow lily near the sherbert KEF....
Cloudy here but still warm. We really need some rain - can't believe I said that!
What I really need is a hosepipe and an outside tap
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
