    It's very hot out there!   26.6C last time I looked.  I just planted the rudbeckias I was given on the Barnsdale trip (you know who you are! image) so am just pulling the hosepipe round to the front to give them a good watering in. 


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Phew what a scorcher. Planted out my winter veg and had to put an old net curtain over the netting to shade them so they don't cook before they've grow.

    Have had a few sit downs in shade but still too hot to even water shady areas. I'm considering a lie on sofa in room where sun moved away from at 11am. If I do will I wake to make some food image do I care image

    Phewww, bedroom blitzed and stuff for charity shop.

    I don't think we should allow lily near the sherbert KEF....image

    Cloudy here but still warm. We really need some rain - can't believe I said that! 

    What I really need is a hosepipe and an outside tap image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
