    what a shame, only just realised that Tpby is not coming back. I think this is a mistake and probably won't watch it as I didn't find Monty particularly interesting. shall follow Toby's progress elsewhere

    Well I suppose we will all have to listen to Monty's preaching organic boring rants again. I wonder how long it will be before he drops out again suffering from exhaustion or whatever. I wasn't prepared to like Toby when he first joined the team but soon realised he had brought a fresh new approach to the programme. As for Alys being replaced by Rachel...well words fail me...how boing.

    Can't wait to see Monty back!! I've really missed his passion for the garden (and his sexy voice!)He is just so down to earth and likeable!

    I can't believe that Monty is back, hated it last time he presented and was so happy to see a professional gardener presenting GW. Have never learnt a thing from Monty and have been bored to death by him far too much. I will not be watching GW anymore!

    A backward step.
    Monty Don and Rachel both only amateur gardeners and really just presenters.
    The excellent Toby Buckland and Alys Fowler both professional gardeners and it showed in the program.
    Please bring them back.

    It is wonderful to have Monty Don back on GW
    It was through watching him that I started growing veg. Now I have an allotment I have. His advice to help.

    Have just watched the first edition of GW and alraedy BORED STIFF of Monty. The only person worth watching is Rachael, and as for the bald bloke that everyone ignores - why bother with him still ??
    Bring back Alan, Chris and Rachael (if they'll do it), this was just terrible!!
