It's two years on from the first version of this thread, time to see what regular and new forum members have been up to perhaps?

Please show us the results of your gardening projects, large or small, finished or still in progress. Have you moved home and started a new garden, made changes to cope with the weather, screened off unwanted views or replanted a border for a new look?

Anything that gives ideas and inspiration for the new gardening year ahead is very welcome. If you're brave enough to own up to some mistakes, that will make interesting (educational) viewing too!

I usually grow only tulips in one of the beds in my garden, used as a path for weeding the rest of the year! Last year I dug all the tulips up as they were no longer repeat flowering reliably. I replanted the bed with Salvia "Amistad", just three small plants which gave excellent value in one growing season, despite being inaccessible for deadheading!

I've just looked through the last before and after thread and thoroughly enjoyed it. What a lot of stunning gardens.

I'm not a great one for hard landscaping, not capable of doing it and on a budget so I tend to dig beds into the lawn. I posted photos of my gardens, the house I sold and the house I bought in 1921, in the last thread.

Now I'm posting photos of OH's garden in Norfolk. I live in France, he lives in Norfolk, we met in France but for various reasons, mostly our families, don't want to change country. When OH bought this house over 5 years ago the garden had hardly any colour and masses of lamium, geranium phaeum and ground elder. I've been re-doing it.

we moved in January 2022. I’d had a small garden before.

This is last summer. Still a work in progress as gardening always is.

Mine is not bad v better, but spring to summer. Just different stages of my tiny front garden. Putting in the raised bed of sleepers has made this area managable, as the plot is on slopes north to south and west to east. A front tap was also a game changer.

summer. You'll see that the gravel is still there on the path. I bagged up the rest and used it over the years. It works well as a stable path surface that stays dry through winter. Grass and other plants grow through it and the shape changes every month.

This is the lower part of my garden in spring 2022. The following year, after much deliberation, I painted the fence black. Last year the wooden arch fell apart so I replaced it with a metal one, which the Clematis seems to prefer!
