Looking for recommendations for seed suppliers

Happy new year everyone. I’m getting back into gardening this year after some time off and generally not feeling very inspired. What are your recommendations for the best places to buy seeds online? I plan to grow mostly vegetables but hopefully some strawberries and herbs too.

Edited to add: I should have said I want to grow potatoes so ideally would like to buy the tubers from the same place I get the seeds. Same for strawberry plants.

    Good quality and cheap.
No fancy pictures  or labels or sowing instructions (usually) on the packets, but that info can be found easily elsewhere

I've used DT Browns and Chiltern seeds for the last few years with good results. DT Browns regularly have £1 a packet sales.
  • As already mentioned above, premierseedsdirect (for value) and DTbrowns (when on offer, for choice) are my main go to suppliers.

Premier seeds for me too,  usually through eBay as they have special offers, sometimes free post, or buy 5 get one free.
Just Seeds,  Seekay,  Happy Green,  I’ve had no problem with any cheap seeds,  you can pay more,  you’ll get a fancy packet with a nice glossy photo,  (you’ll find that on any site, they all use the same one) but the seeds inside are all much the same,  probably not T&M I don’t buy those.

Another vote for D T Brown - usually a good selection with some Free Packet offers and reliable delivery.  Veg, fruit, potatoes and flowers.
Haven't used Chiltern for some time but they too were good.

I've gone for Moles seeds and Kings seeds in the past. They are both good too.

It depends,  I  find Marshalls very good for veg especially if you want to try the latest cultivars.  They are not cheap though.  Not sure if they do on-line but Franchii seeds are good value as you get a lot more in apack than with other brands , they grow the stock in Northern Italy,  surprisingly the climate there is very similar to the UK.

I've ordered my Pink Fir Apple seed potatoes and a few other bits from RHS Plants. Other seeds from Mr Fothergills. My winter Potatoes were a distaster because of the constant rain Nov/DEc so hoping a spring planting will do the trick

When buying seeds check, if possible, the number of seeds in the packet. Just spent 3.50 plus postage on a packet containing 8 chilli seeds.
