    c) ??? still thinking but going to have to give up and look at others' answers


    g) my first gut on it was wallflower or cheiranthus but those are 10 and 11 letters not 9 so im confused!

    I'm not sure how everyone is getting on. Answers to all are below, if you would like them.


    a) The chef keeps this in store: stock
    b) Before Christ goes around totally ascending: buttercup

    h) The essay text goes around the edge to make a strait-laced bloom: primrose

    j) A Greek oracle with her 12th letter mixed in: delphinium
    K) The sun came up pink? : rose

    I though j) might by Silybum - anagram of Sibyl and mu (12th letter of the greek alphabet)

    nice!  I'm trying to stick to common, very ordinary flower names, else everything could get very complicated and obsure.

    I realise I should have written "Place of a Greek oracle with her 12th letter mixed in".

    Also I put primrose in both of the last two quizzes by mistake.
