What lovely memories Cat, such a lovely man, although I never met him, his personality shines through his works. Jeannie also. You must have met him just before he died.

Yes @Lyn he died just a few months later sadly. I’m so glad I got to meet him, he really was a beautiful soul. He actually asked me if I’d like to move down as he needed someone to help organise his cottage and affairs but I had a career in Bristol at the time so it wasn’t feasible! Can’t wait to start re-reading all his books again now, so thanks for mentioning him and jogging my memory.
@Joyce Goldenlily Spring is just around the corner. Lots of rain this end as well, enjoy your walk, if you pass a mad women on a bike, that will be my Karen.😀

I am off to don my waterproofs and boots to walk the dog before coming home, changing and putting on my glad rags. I will give anyone on a bike a wave!

Went out for a walk today and found daffodils blooming at the edge of a footpath, there were more on a grass verge around the corner.
Very wet and dark this morning, must walk the dog before the festivities begin.
