He was a superb actor @LittleGreyRabbit … with an interesting and quite sad ‘backstory’. I’m so glad he gained some real recognition … he had such a conspiratorial twinkle in his eye … I’ve a feeling he’d have been very good company. OH ‘bumped’ into him once; he took the taxi OH was quitting … it’s just as well it wasn’t me, I’d have got back into the taxi and shared the journey with him so I could tell him how highly I rated his acting 😂

Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
When I answered on the first page all the pies were sweet so I chose Lemon pie. Now I have realised it could be a savoury pie so I will add Chicken and Leek. That's OH's favourite of the pies I make too. He likes it when I put pastry hearts and flowers on it !
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
