You're getting the hang of this now kate, fast learner. Wild Violet will take some beating though

Ignore that question. As the shipping would be £10 there would be no point not paying the extra for grade A. The plant would be less than the shipping. I may have to think of more plants to order ....
That's the spirit haha. The Forever Royal that Marlorena made us all fall in love with is available there by the way

Spending money is one of my talents @Tack, as is justifying it to myself.

@WAMS, yes, they are both in my basket, but I have shut the website down.

It's ok, Kate... the RV Roger website saves your basket.
  • And emails to tell you it's saved it.

Cooldoc has just prompted my brain into action @clematisdorset. I had been looking at a Ralph Moore mini called ‘Sweet Chariot’, sold as ‘Insolite’ in Europe. It’s supposed to have a strong damask scent. Don’t know if it’s available in the UK??

Miniature can often refer to bloom size rather than plant size, so do check the latter before committing your cash. There are a few compact, fragrant Austins and floribundas that might fit the bill. Needless to say my most compact and highly fragrant Austin - Lady Em - is discontinued 🙄
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
  • I had the email about Taylor's Clematis @Marlorena. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing.

In other news, I've been panicking a bit about how to fill my tubs with compost. But I've been to my local independent garden centre this morning and they will deliver for £8. And their compost is the cheapest I've found. So that's sorted. Still not sure how I'm going to mix it - any tips?
