So 7. But I'll be ordering Emily Bronte very soon so will go up to 8. I just don't have the room for more If I did I would have probably quite a few others, though if I could get my hands on Munstead Wood I'd make room for it somehow.

Mostly lurk here but I do read everything as some of you might notice in my choices below! I had 3 or 4 roses about 18 months ago…before I started loitering here 😊
That's an amazing list. You have a Munstead Wood standard coming? I would love to hear about that. Also how Moonlight does for you in your setting.

More isn't really better. My personal wish is to grow fewer plants better so that everything really thrives rather than limps along. But I don't have a collector's wiring.
@Fire yes, very true. There is technically room, but I need space for other plants too as I like the variety and to be able to extend the season and so on. I could add more potted roses to the patio, but then I won't have the space for tulips, or sweet peas, or whatever else.
Still feel a little bit jealous of those with massive gardens and room to just keep adding and adding though. I have to be careful only to chose things I absolutely love, and if a new release comes out in future that I really want I have to make the decision as to whether to remove something else, for example. And I hate digging plants up!

I think we need to be a bit careful with social media - showing more, consuming more, wanting more. Sharing a passion can be great fun but it's so easy to go down a worm hole and end up feeling miz.
I felt quite low when I first joined the forum and started longing for a huge garden with a lake and woods and fruit trees, feeling dissatified with my little plot. I did have a strong feeling of absence. But then I realised that this is just what social media does and we need to take it all with a pinch of salt. @Jess91
I appreciate this thread for showing lots of the struggles, as well the beautiful successes - the pest damage, failure to thrive, the balling and all the rest of it. It's just as useful as the gorgeous pictures.
Including 12 new ones (6 still pending) and 11 repeats but excluding a few more destined to meet the shovel, I will arrive back at 65 roses by the end of the year. I always seem to end up around that number despite repeated attempts to cut back to 50.
I could just stop buying new ones, but were’s the fun in that?!

Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
Little Buckaroo has finally arrived so I will get that planted shortly. I've also been back to B & M and bought three more tubs. They will be perfect for dwarf fruit trees which I realised are also in too small pots. So if anyone is planning on going to Macclesfield B & M don't bother, I think there's only one left.

Comparison is the thief of joy, isn't it...
Thank you for the lists. They're all fascinating!
