    Declining ferns.

    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

  • Love your forest glimpses, @Nollie

I was wondering anyway about suggesting this be not just photos from gardens. It's getting harder and harder to find subjects in a limited space. What does everyone think?

Thank you Liz, they are fairly soft compared to my usual lurid ones. I think shots from your local area are fine, I often spot things on my morning dog walk.

Sorry to hear about your silver birch btw, it’s always sad to lose a tree.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
  • Thanks, @Nollie. We're very sad about the tree, it needn't have happened if a former 'tree surgeon' had not taken it upon himself to top it and its pair. Both became too infected to save.

I agree with local shots, preferably nature related but with discretion. Like you, I see things walking the dogs, but invariably don't have my camera on me!
