I'm trying to teach myself to use layers on Pixlr (it melts my eye balls). Youtube is helpful but I can actively feel that the neurons dedicated for tech learning are ossifying. I'm turning into my own grandfather. But still, it's useful to learn a new thing, so I will keep at it. I don't think the software design makes life easy, it assumes too much. But it's free and I have had fun with it for years.
They would make great earrings, @Fire! They remind me of sugar mice too and all those intricate cake decorations that are marvels...Interesting links on the tech software too. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth learning new tech stuff, when things become obsolete so quickly, but in truth, it is worthwhile to keep on learning and be encouraged to do so.
It is the perfect time to do things like this, when things are quieter in the garden.. I have not even planted tulips yet, but think a cold spell is coming this week...
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus
There might be easier free progammes out there, but Pixlr has stayed in its current form pretty much for at least ten years. Think of tech like doing crosswords or learning a foreign language - good brain gym - and it is like a mix of the two. (Mental note to self). A bit like LunaPic, it's fun to just play and find out where everything is for a while.
I gave up trying to get to grips with the latest CAD packages. I used to be a whizz with drawing software in my youth, but it now it just hurts my brain!
Not a very good phone shot in the muddy remains of our local river. i liked the water eddy caused by Bill though:
