  • That's interesting, @Fire. Personally I'd probably process it a bit to bring the rose out more, it's just a tad dark.

    Regrettably, this is not my garden, but rather the Manoir du Flot that we visited yesterday with the 'journée du patrimoine'. The property was bought in a terrible state 25 years ago, the roofs took most of their budget and they are chipping away at the buildings (not literally). The poor garden must have been glorious, but I so wanted to don gloves and get weeding!

    Just a straight shot to start off with

    And this isn't really the garden but looking out to the bindweed plantation

    @NormandyLiz  Well, it's "creative" - so you can assume it's intentional ;)
  • I have a feeling this thread is loosing steam... but here's one that I personally love. Not sure I'll take many others with me though.

    Dianthus

  • Please keep it going @NormandyLiz, those photos of the garden you visited were superb!

  • I took this one at Borde Hill gardens today. I've no idea what it is, but in my eyes, it could be an oil painting.

  • Another unknown from Borde Hill gardens today - again, I thought could easily be an oil painting.
