Yes the water spout is on my garage wall. It was bought as a decorative item, but probably could resume it’s original function.

Some fabulous landscapes from Liz and Cranky there. Everyone’s ‘eye’ is so different, it would be fascinating to see how each of us would process the same, unfiltered image..

This sounds like a good idea. Do you fancy offering one to try?

A mix of Miscanthus leaves, stems and flowers, then transformed into fireworks!

    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

    Dauca seed head from above:

Too fuzzy a shot for a decent close-up, but in Noir mode seems to emphasise the scurrying insectesque nature of the individual seeds:

I would have no idea what to pick @Fire and it would only be an elderly iPad image - not the best source material perhaps?!

If I copy the image I get a file of 1mb. Is that about right?
  • The original, saved to medium quality, is 1.55MB so it must have resized it automatically. 1MB should still be enough to work with, I would have thought. If it's not I can repost a bigger version (the full size is 11.9MB, I thought that was overkill!)
