My friend's tree. I like that the leaves look made of brass

@NormandyLiz Ouch! Best wishes for a prompt recovery to your husband.
  • Thank you, all. We're waiting to hear if he needs surgery to stabilise the fractured vertebrae, otherwise he's good to come home. Fingers crossed life will be back to normal in the not too distant future.

    No photos to add  :(
  • I know,  it's not a garden but it has got a plant or two - buddleja and a weed of some sort.

Best I can do at the moment.

Horticultural Brutalism? @NormandyLiz. How's you husband doing? I hope they let him out.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Like the fancy name! but in fact just growing out of the steps of a building at the back of the hospital. Typical buddleja.

He's still in. A full spinal scan today and he's being fitted with a brace to immobilise the spine. He's frustrated and absolutely raring to go, but they won't even let him stand up without the brace. Keeping him sensible over the next couple of months is going to be fun! This is a man who is used to cycling for 3 hours a day, including stiff hills.

And thank you for asking  :)

    Gorgeous shot, @pitter-patter.
