    The guy who is laying my patio doesn't work with porcelain.

    I laid some Raj Green stone at my mums a couple of years ago for a Christmas present , it had decking before which were a death trap . 
    This is a pic after pointing so not cleaned off but it reflects how it looks most time of the year. I gravelled the two gaps

    @Perki - a tangent question - were the retaining walls there before the decking was removed?

    I should think the retaining wall was before the decking, it were there before mum moved in.
