Did we ever work out how to stop wolves shitting on grass? I may have missed some posts.
We had done in the UK - we eradicated them. Some bright spark has had the idea of reintroducing them. Assumedly so that they can leave their not so little piles on our lawns. 🤔
I’ve had an acknowledgment … so I believe have some others … that way we all know it’s being looked at. 😊
Rather than acknowledgement just going to a few, why can't Mods actually post into the topic saying it's been closed temporarily or permanently and the reason. Also, why would some people get acknowledgements and not others?
I requested a reply on the thread @pansyface. I've often suggested it should happen, for example- on threads where there are multiple rude comments by the same poster and they're reported for it. There was occasionally that kind of response from Daniel Haynes in the past, although it could have been done more often IMO. It then makes it clear as to what's being done to address problems.
I'd also like a reply as to what measures they've taken in that kind of situation. Temporary ban? 3 strikes and you're out? I did get replies from the other mod- Lily Middleton, earlier in the year about two posters who had, and have, been reported regularly for their behaviour by many people. Those posters were 'spoken to' but one of them has certainly been reported regularly since then. I have that one on ignore, but I often think that really isn't the answer. The other has a private profile....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I have no problem with posts being shut down if the arguments become spitefully acrimonious but if all it involves is snippily contrasting viewpoints I am disappointed to see the topic closed.
I wrote a full and, I felt, balanced counter argument in the discussion about cats on neighbours’ lawns and now I am aggrieved that I wasted my time doing so.
I read your post @BenCotto and agreed with every word posted. Some good points made.

I too read your contribution and am very much in the same boat. Could I just also say that my neighbours miss one of my cats visiting now that I keep them in as their sheds are overrun with mice. You can't please everybody and although the decision to keep my cats in was a wrench as they were feral and love outside, it is best for them. Too many vehicles and big bits of farm machinery for my liking and having lost one I couldn't bear to lose any more. Having been a crazy dog lady all my life I am now an out and out cat lover.

It could solve the cat problem.
