We shop mainly in Lidl,,we have electric drill Lidl own make,(Dyson,) handheld cordless vacuum cleaner, was half the price of other retailers , never had any problems with any purchases. We bought "something", recently in there...last week,£5.99, saw this same thing yesterday in another warehouse store we go to....£11.99! Can't tell you yet what it is! Our youngest daughter has one, large, not Lidl we did queue outside for hours trying to get her one. She loves it,used it for most cooking, partly to save money, and for speed. We didn't bother. My kitchen is minute,I have no where to put it. I always batch cook and freeze.

Mine is a ninja and it's light enough to lift and put away.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • The idea of getting food out of a plastic drawer is too depressing to contemplate. Just kills the vibe of cooking for me. I'd rather have a small countertop oven if cooking for one. But otherwise happy to cook a couple of things in the oven if it's on and really doesn't get used more than three times a week.

If they were plastic, they'd melt. It's just a small oven.

@amancalledgeorge, the air fryer is really just like a small countertop oven, just uses much less power and is quicker. The drawer itself is metal, not plastic ( they’d melt pretty quickly!) and you basically season and prepare the food in a similar way to preparing it for the oven, but less oil. I’m cooking for two in mine, and only put the oven on maybe once a month, if that. Much easier to keep clean, too.
I watched a few YouTube videos before I bought mine. I was dead against them for a couple of years, but within days of having one, I can certainly say it’s revolutionised my cooking.
