It is a great looking garden @CatDouch I'd be very happy with it as it is, a lovely mature garden.

It's gorgeous, where is it? I will bring cakes round to sit in that bench! There's always one!! You know who I mean, poster didn't say parents wanted to make it low maintenance or anything else.

Can I join you @Nanny Beach?  That is as beautiful garden, they should be very proud of it.
I've cut down on planters this year being of a certain age and having to use a stick. But it comes to us all eventually,so your parents are doing extremely well, and long may it last for them.

Once again, thanks everyone for your wonderful comments. I read them out to my parents over the phone and they were really amazed that anyone would take the time to comment. It really made their day 🥰

I'm a bit late to this thread but I would like to have my say too :) . It's a beautiful garden and looks very well tended. Gorgeous roses. Your parents should be proud of themselves.

    Ditto.
My kind of garden, only tidier.

Just another day at the plant...
  • I've always liked paths that give more than one way round the garden. (I haven't got any paths except off the patio round the corner of the house).
