It’s interesting that the ever popular and well-respected Princess Anne is well known to have had affairs, but because her spouse was not a winsome blonde with big eyes, no one seems to give a damn.

Maybe it’s because Princess Anne didn’t get married aged 32 to a 19 year old who was madly in love and extremely vulnerable. She didn’t have an affair from day one of her marriage to the spouse of someone else. It appears from the little we know as fact that her husband also had affairs.
To be fair nowadays with so much public scrutiny nobody from the family of that time seem ideal regal material.
Maybe they should have skipped that generation and gone straight to William.
