Yes, @Dovefromabove, we should give thanks to dog for that!

Maybe it’s because Princess Anne didn’t get married aged 32 to a 19 year old who was madly in love and extremely vulnerable. She didn’t have an affair from day one of her marriage to the spouse of someone else. It appears from the little we know as fact that her husband also had affairs.
To be fair nowadays with so much public scrutiny nobody from the family of that time seem ideal regal material.
Maybe they should have skipped that generation and gone straight to William.

As I’ve said earlier,  that’s not how a monarchy works … it’s not a popularity contest.

@Dovefromabove is right though, isn't she ?  Love 'em or hate 'em no one's opinion counts for a damn in the real world.  Pointless getting heated about any of it, just take a couple of breaths and relax.

Waste of money . Shrug shoulders
I've just returned from the coronation tea. I was the only one drinking tea. Two of us didn't stand when they sang the national anthem and when there was a toast, I said god bless Diana

Nearly 9 million people in France watched the Coronation on French TV.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Yay for the Frenchies ! 😁.  I wonder how many other people around the world were curious enough to watch it ?  Probably loads.
