you guys are still missing part the of challenge which is getting
get either getting original document and scanning them or getting
scans of them, just getting the recipes does not meet standard of winning.
I will post watercress leaflet later, after all I have is lower quality scan
of page 1 of potato leaflet.  i have some of recipes from a newspaper article.
but that does not count in the challenge.

@wargarden ...  :) I'm sorry but its you who are missing the point ... it's your challenge, not ours ... we are not here to follow your instructions; we are not children and you are not our teacher to set us topics to pursue;  we chose our own activities and join in conversations with others on here if and when we wish to.

I wish you well in achieving your goal ... but I am not taking part in it, although I may comment along the way ... it is what a forum is for, after all.   :)

I think I get it. Some folks have an urge or drive to collect things, and once they start on a particular thing they seem to feel a strong need to have every different one that there is. I can't help though, I wasn't born until 1966, my parents were small children in WWII (in their 80s now) and my grandparents weren't hoarders. My maternal gran in particular would have got rid of those recipe leaflets just as soon as she didn't need them any more. I can just imagine her gleefully feeding them into the fire.

I get that @JennyJ ... but it's his urge, his drive ... it's not for him to berate us for not joining in.  It's not even as if he joins in with us ...  I asked him some questions on another of his threads yesterday and he's totally ignored them.

As I said, I wish him well in achieving his goal ... and I'm happy to discuss the subject in general  :)

    I didn’t insult you @wargarden … please don’t be rude to me.

If you cannot or do not wish to answer my genuine query then that’s up to you and perfectly fine with me. I thought your views would be interesting, that’s all.

I will not be drawn into an exchange of PMs about it.
    😊
