I always buy peppers, so far always come true. Tried Kiwi, seeds germinated but I’m sure we’d never get fruits on them in this climate so dumped them. Got a nice little tree from a sweet chestnut.

You can sprinkle anything you like on a parsnip even a humbug and it will still taste of parsnip. Not keen on cooked celery either. I use it to flavour a stew and chuck it away. Essential raw in a waldorf salad though
