@Jenny_Aster, are you still there? Do you need rescuing?
My don't is don't stretch too far at an impossible angle when tidying a border of weeds and leaves.
A branch of the climbing hydrangea kindly poked me in the eye as I was doing the above. Fortunately my glasses saved me from what could have been a nasty injury.
Thanks for caring Janet, I managed to break free eventually. The offending bone is now confiscated.

    Very good tip about eyes.

I've weeded out lots in the last few days and I swear it alters its leaves to match the plant it's hiding in. It can't change its roots though :)
Haha! Yes!  They're masters at hiding in plain sight! Sometimes they get to a more than a foot tall before I even notice they're there

No, I'm not laughing, no no definitely not laughing 😱🤭

Hope your mum wasn't imprisoned too long. Bloody lawnmowers.....
about an hour - she had to get a broom through the little top light window (requiring standing on a wobbly old chair) and flick the lawnmower handle up - which took many attempts. All while shouting for my Dad, who was inside with his headphones on, listening to a football match and entirely oblivious. She thinks he might have come looking for her eventually, when he got hungry, but wasn't confident and didn't want to wait that long.
I laughed a lot when she told me  :D

Don't leave a barrow load of sifted compost under a sycamore tree in a mast year😡
It must be good stuff. The seeds are germinating beautifully😒
