@Jenny_Aster, are you still there? Do you need rescuing? My don't is don't stretch too far at an impossible angle when tidying a border of weeds and leaves. A branch of the climbing hydrangea kindly poked me in the eye as I was doing the above. Fortunately my glasses saved me from what could have been a nasty injury.

about an hour - she had to get a broom through the little top light window (requiring standing on a wobbly old chair) and flick the lawnmower handle up - which took many attempts. All while shouting for my Dad, who was inside with his headphones on, listening to a football match and entirely oblivious. She thinks he might have come looking for her eventually, when he got hungry, but wasn't confident and didn't want to wait that long. I laughed a lot when she told me
