@GardenerSuze yes I also do a lot of reading up on things all throughout the year but I just think it confuses my thoughts even more I like trees as it blocks out nosy people and gives the birds something to do!! So it’s a bit of an ever changing light situation for my garden…
The coloured cordylines around here have suffered with the cold but the green ones seem ok. Lots of them are now two stories high and were cut down by the cold winter ten years ago but I think this made them stronger for it. If yours resprout they will form multistem plants which grow quite quickly.
Gardening forums are very odd in that most people are lovely and nurturing but that are a few weeds that spoil things.
