I bought a few (quite a few) seeds in October last year and put them in a very safe place, on the bookcase in the kitchen. I checked them only 3 weeks ago. All present and correct. They've gone! I quite recently lost the cat's eye drops, brought them home from the vet, and lost them within hours. I found them yesterday, in the cheese section of the fridge. Then I remembered, the vet had told me they needed to be kept in the fridge. Doh!
