C'mon, own up...

I bought a few (quite a few) seeds in October last year and put them in a very safe place, on the bookcase in the kitchen.
I checked them only 3 weeks ago. All present and correct.

They've gone!
Of course, my husband knows nothing
Who's had 'em?
Where are they?

And what did I buy?   :'(

Fess up.... where are they?
And tell me what I bought, so I can buy 'em all again

*and if they turn up, I'm in clover!!

Look at it this way, you can see it as an opportunity to buy twice as many seeds as you ' lost '.  I suppose you could see it as a positive that someone was that into tidying . but I I'm not sure that I could manage it.

My husband tells me were have creatures called minute men that live with us.... When we aren't looking they take the thing we are going to need....I have to say I believe him in reviewing how much time I spend walking about the house looking for things that all have a set place, yet some how are mysteriously not there when I need them!

That's exactly what I said @Pauline 7 but apparently he's too cool to watch the film let alone read the book 😉

I expect they will turn up eventually. Things usually do, even if it's a year or two later.
I couldn't find my car key, plastic card sort, recently. I tipped my handbag out twice, wasn't there. Then OH said just have another look so I put my hand in my bag and there it was. Wasn't him, he wasn't near enough to slip it in.

I blame Dr Who and that lot … I think things slip into another dimension when we are looking for them, just to be annoying … and then, to be even more annoying they slip back again and make us look like idiots 🙄

Have you tried a prayer to St Anthony? I did that after a fruitless search quite recently and the item was discovered within two hours. We struck a bargain at £30 and there is an online charity in his name that takes card payments.

You got a bargain there @BenCotto. Will you ask him where I put the whatsit that I lost the other day please? The only problem being is that I can't remember what it was but he might know.
