    Correct. He and his brother were eaten by protesters. I bought a box of cards with mad questions that nobody knows the answer to. It's great fun.

    That's disgusting. Casserole with bacon and onions would have been much better. I bet they didn't even have any chianti.

    If I were to feast on long pig, I would probably choose a different cut. I am not familiar with the merits of Dutch cuisine but edam is a  cause for concern.

    I don't know @B3, a mature edam can be good. The stuff you can easily buy here is a bit plasticky though.

    Surely you've tried Stroopwafel, Kroket, Patat, Poffertjes and Bitterballen? Erwtensoep? Snert? You haven't lived till you've tried Snert.

    Aren’t erwtensoep and snert the same thing - a soup with the colour and texture of sludge? It probably has that taste too but I’ve never tried it.
