Most delivery people here are like that too, which is why I it was a particular RTBC :)
It's just occurred to me, maybe he thought I looked old and decrepit :o:D

I understand the old and decrepit feeling.  I'm now just using one stick following hip surgery, but coffee shop staff seem to think I'm unable to carry a mug.  Nice that they show concern though. :)
  • I can carry a mug fine - but only if it's empty.

Maybe I've got little old lady looking in the past couple of years but I find people are much more friendly. I wonder if it's because when we wore masks, there was much more eye contact and non - verbal communication. Perhaps people have learnt to acknowledge people a little more.
PS I know all you people beyond the M25 are different to londoners and smile at each other all the time.😉
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Saw my first swallows swooping above our wild patch this morning.  Very cheerful.

Fortunately for them it's bright and sunny today so there'll be insects flying.  They'll be hungry after yesterday's stormy, blustery winds and rain.

2nd RTBC - plant fair at Angles and Tomato Man should be there with his array of about 100 heritage tomato seedlings.  I'll be like a kid in a sweet shop.

  • My horoscope today is perfect: April 2 - Today is all about new growth. You are focusing on what's blossoming rather than old growth. Cultivate anything that seems like it has potential and prune away the rest.

My RTBC is that it's been dry all day and I got all my deliveries done in daylight

It's been dry here as well and we even had sunshine after lunch. Done about three hours gardening - very pleased although a bit achey!
