    I was just reading a report yesterday @wild edges, which was highlighting that the problems up here are increasing, due to all kinds of influences. It made me quite sad.
    There's only so much help I can give my two girls. I've spent most of my life 'masking' [which is quite common] because I knew I wasn't like other people and was trying to fit in, as you do.  At least they can open up to me about anything bothering them though. 
    As I said earlier, they read a lot, and they also have good work colleagues, which is a big help. I didn't have that.
    Music and reading were my friends, along with my really good friend Debbie when I was a teenager. I think of her every time I walk past her old house, or listen to the music we loved, or the films she quoted bits from - 'that's a very nice lookin' piece' from Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid always makes me smile  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
