Good afternoon all. Well I managed to get Lily's TV on and I've just retrieved the cloth things.
Busy, I would have loved a pony but with us never living anywhere longer than 3 years - and not always in the UK it would not have been possible. Did you get the presents wrapped?
Hazel, glad your cyclamen are safe. That garden fleece can be so useful. Has your new board arrived?
Ante, Its has been quite nice here today. At one minute (just after the wet cloth things went out) it went very dark and I thought we might have some rain but luckily - no. I remember you mentioning a few posts back that you were going to be getting the Euro. So all change on January 1st then. Will you be able to exchange any currency you still have?

Hi LB. You were busy today. I'm glad that you had sunny day. WE will be able exchange our currency till May next year, and everything on the account will be converted immediately on January 1st. Shops will accept our currency till January 15th.

Still waiting for the board, we have until 8pm for it to come. Tired of waiting.
Our central heating went off this afternoon suddenly. Text plumber....he's away....but by the time he replied, OH and I'm had worked out what was wrong thankfully, a simple fix.
Its been mild today so did a bit more outside sorting out cold frame plants. Also repotted some grape hyacinths that hadn't come through, some had rotten.
Im signing out for now. Have a nice evening. Night all.

    Evening all,

The reality wasn't close enough to the weather forecast to allow a long stint working outside today. Marti was constantly lurking.

Sounds a tough quiz @Ladybird4. I haven't heard of those beers and would guess that Alaska would be the state with a sparsely populated capital? However, I don't know what that capital is anyway!

It's my time to sign out for tonight. It might be interesting to LB that I'm considering to buy clematis for my front garden. It will be first there.

Wish you all goodnight and sweet dreams.
