    Anything is worth a try I say @WonkyWomble.

    Well I have just made the biggest and best energy saving here… we have a power cut!!! Unbelievable.Ā

    Oh no!!!! @AuntyRach!!!! What's caused it??? Weather? Stay under as many blankets as you can!!!!! You being ill, this is the worst time to have a power cut!!! Sending as much good will to your local fixing engineers as possible!!

    Not sure on the cause yet. It’s only this side of the street by the looks. Txt message says should be back on by 2130.Ā 
    I’m warmĀ enough after my curry and luckily we had heating on in the snug prior, so with layers plus blankets it’s ok.Ā

    Plus candles and a little calor gas stove and whistling kettle. They're all in reserve here as well as loads of torches and batteries. šŸ‘šŸ™‚

    Ā Harrie, the cat on the left doesn't normally like being covered but has been spooning under the duvet all week!! I've made a couple of cat caves from wool blankets in the shed for the stray cats that visit.
