Interesting. The voiceover sounds like it comes from 1968 with music from 1936, oddly overlaid by interviews from this year. :D

I've posted this series of "The Art of the Garden" before. Eight 45 min vids sponsored by
    Tom Stuart-Smith
    Jason Ingram
    Kim Wilkie
    Piet Oudolf
    Victoria Glendinning
    Dan Pearson
    Penelope Hobhouse
    Bruce Munro

  • Thanks for all the replies. I have been busy but had a look at a few this morning.

I also found this guy, Mike Kincaid, taking cuttings of roses and have subscribed.

Interestingly he left some leaves on. I have only ever seen rose cutting being taken with all the leaves stripped off.

I'm planning on taking a few cuttings in from my rose in preparation for when we move to a bigger house and garden.

R.A. Javier doesn't create their own content but re-posts lots of gardening series, include each week's GW and seasons from Carol Klein.

I do like Carol. Her enthusiasm and energy is awesome. If Monty ever left I'd want her to get the main presenter role.

I find Carol's squeaking enthusisam a bit much and one-note. She is "untrained" (didn't study horticultural at college), like Monty, and very knowledgable. I think she might stand a chance of 'taking over' is she was a bit more 'serious in manner' - from the BBC's point of view. Her series do pack in a great deal of practical teaching.

I think it unlikely Carol K would take over. She's 77 now and while she comes across as 20 years younger, who would want the hassle of heading up GW when she's got such a good arrangement with C5?

Most that I watch (and I don't watch a lot) have already been mentioned. Has anyone linked to Beth Chatto's yet though?

I didn't think she was that old!

Bunny is pushing 70 and is just tremendous.

I'd like to be like her when I grow up.
