My car isn’t electric … but it tells me when the boot or a door is open, when it’s due for a service, if the tyre pressure is too low and if something needs checking in the engine … and all sorts of things …  … so did my last car … neither of them were new … not even new-ish, when I got them. My son tells me mine would even speak to me in Italian … if I let it … but I’m not going to … 😉
Mmm, mine told me that sort of thing (not tyre pressure but other stuff like that) but on the dashboard, not on my phone

Damp drizzly day here, need to make bread, do my paperwork - end of the month - pick some runner beans for dinner. All the damp Sunday type things - might even do some mending later
I could, if I wished, network my phone with the car ... I haven't found the need for that ... yet ...

Yes, end of month sums ... better get on with that ... plus there's the balance of our holiday to pay for ...

Overcast but dry here, so it’s breakfast out and walkies to start the day. Son’s dog has gone home after their holiday, so we can have a brisk walk without having to stop and sniff things.
OH is likely to be stuck in front of the tv today, Formula 1, sailing from Plymouth, and the ladies football. He says he might record that, and watch it afterwards if England win! Can’t take the suspense!
I have laundry to catch up with, and if it stays dry, might yet make some headway with the new flower bed. With my current progress, it should be ready to plant up in a year or two.
Waitrose delivery tonight, not too many treats, although I so enjoyed a bottle of sparkling rose that I bought on special offer, that I ordered four more for my ‘wine cellar’!

It has rained overnight!  But have still spot watered the salvia that flops its leaves like a sulky ballerina and the pots by the house that are in a rain shadow.
Yesterday was a do nothing day.  Caught up on some reading and didn't feel guilty as I know when my energy levels are low I just need to rest.
Daughter has phoned to say another of their friends will also be coming along to the sculpture trail today.  And she has booked a late afternoon slot, probably to give them all time to have Sunday lunch. Which is a shame, as that is when we are forecast to have another rain shower!  Might not go...

    Hello everyone.

Pruning is addictive. We have a very mature and somewhat wild area at back of the garden and let’s just say some gentle tidying up pruning has escalated. Bits of conifer and Laurel everywhere so I’m slowly chopping them down so they can go on the big compost pile. They’ll be slow to rot but they have an out of the way place.

Not really into sports (Wimbledon as an exception) but quite enjoying some Commonwealth Games. Not sure about the football final but might peep in.

Have a good day whatever you are doing today folks.

Afternoon all  Had a long lie in this morning and I'm heading out into the garden this afternoon.  We had rain in the night but the sun is shinning now.  Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday.

The men’s cycling outfits don’t leave much to the imagination either 😵

I blame lycra. When Linford Christie used to run, it was like watching a metronome.
